California Statewide Communities Development Authority (CSCDA). This program provides a variety of public agencies and developers access to low-cost, tax-exempt financing and economic development tools. CSCDA recently issued $5,600,000 in tax-exempt bonds for the APP Jet Center (APP) in Hayward.

California City Solutions: Rancho Cucamonga Involves Spanish-Speaking Community Members in Strategic PlanningThis story is part of an ongoing series featuring Helen Putnam Award entries. City of Rancho Cucamonga’s Community Champions program was submitted in 2015 for the Enhancing Public Trust, Ethics, and Community Involvement award category.

Applications for Strengthening Law Enforcement and Community Relations Grants due April 1The Board of State and Community Corrections (BSCC) has released a Request for Proposals for a new grant program called “Strengthening Law Enforcement and Community Relations.” Municipal police departments and cities that contract for law enforcement services are among the eligible applicants.
