Los Angeles Mayor Eric Garcetti, Riverside Mayor Rusty Baily and Los Angeles Council Member Joe Busciano Join Other Local Government Leaders and Representatives from Business and Labor to Urge Passage of Transportation Funding Package

Resounding Message was “Fix our roads”

At the tail end of Monday morning’s commute, local government, state government, labor and business leaders came together on a busy street in Los Angeles for a press conference to drive the message home that California needs a transportation funding deal. April 6 is the deadline set by Gov. Jerry Brown, Senate President pro Tem Kevin de León (D-Los Angeles) and Assembly Speaker Anthony Rendon (D-South Gate) to pass a transportation funding package.
