League Releases Second Q & A on Post-Redevelopment Legal Issues

The League has released the second in a series of question and answer guides to assist cities struggling with issues arising from ABx1 26, the redevelopment dissolution statute.

League of California Cities' 2012 Major Bills List

See which bills the League's lobbyists have flagged as major bills and hot bills. Major bills are defined as bills which would have significant impacts on local governments. Hot bills are bills that League lobbyists are requesting urgent assistance from cities. Cities are encouraged to send position letters to their legislators immediately for hot bills.

League Commends California Redevelopment Association for Its Long Record of Achievement

This week, the League was deeply saddened to learn that the California Redevelopment Association (CRA) board has decided that it will begin the process of dissolving the association and that only a small contract staff will be available beginning April 30.
