The California Environmental Protection Agency (CalEPA) developed an environmental health screening tool, CalEnviroScreen. CalEPA officials will meet with local agency officials on Jan. 23 to discuss the impacts of this tool on local governments.

Last week, the Legislative Analyst’s Office released its report “California’s Criminal Justice System: A Primer.” The report details some of the recent changes to California’s justice system including Proposition 36 and the impacts of realignment.
