Assembly Resumes Work in Sacramento Before Senate Returns

The Lower House Will Reconvene Ahead of the Senate Due to Earlier Scheduling Differences

As reported earlier, the State Assembly will reconvene from summer recess this Monday, Aug. 5 while the Senate won’t return until Monday, Aug 12.

Cities Encouraged to Take Action on 2013 Annual Conference Resolutions

This year, the League’s Annual Conference will be held Sept. 18 – 20 in Sacramento. As part of the conference member participants will consider action on two resolutions that have been submitted regarding environmental quality and public safety policies.
