Kevin de León (D-Los Angeles) will officially succeed Sen. President Pro Tem Darrell Steinberg on Oct. 15. Sen. Steinberg has led the Senate since 2009.Senate League Second Vice President Kathy Miller Elected to County Office; Applications Being Accepted for Office of First Vice President for 2014-15Katherine Miller, League second vice president and Stockton City Council member, just learned that she has won the two-candidate race for county supervisor for the Second District of San Joaquin County.
