Gov. Jerry Brown held a press conference this morning to announce the details of his proposed FY 2015-16 budget. California’s economic picture remains brighter than 2010 when the state had a $26.6 billion deficit. During the 40-minute presentation and discussion with the press, the Governor maintained his call for fiscal restraint and cautioned that while the budget is balanced, “it’s not a time for exuberant overkill in our budget spending.”
