Under the Affordable Care Act, every employer with 50 or more employees must follow strict guidelines for the provision of employee health benefits. Speakers from Alliant Employee Benefits and Hanson Bridgett will provide an overview of the employer mandate and what your agency needs to know to comply with the law and avoid paying penalties.

What is pay or play?

Pay or play is a requirement for large employers, effective on January 1, 2014. They must offer Minimum Essential Coverage which is Affordable and provides Minimum Value. The coverage must be provided to all full-time employees and their dependents by the 90th day or risk penalties.
