NLC will Host City Leaders during its 2018 Congressional City Conference

The National League of Cities will hold its annual Congressional City Conference in Washington, D.C. from March 10–11.
 
Join thousands of local officials from across the nation for the opportunity to engage with peers and meet with U.S. Senate and House of Representatives members and their staff to discuss federal policy issues of furthermost importance to cities and local governments. 
 
The conference will cover a range of topics including:
  • Community and economic development;
  • Ethical public leadership;
  • Safety, health & human development;
  • Federal lobbying tips;
  • Shaping media engagement; and
  • How to use post-employment benefits. 
League of California Cities President Rich Garbarino, First Vice President Mark Kersey, Second Vice President Jan Arbuckle, and Immediate Past President JoAnne Mounce will be attending the conference along with League Executive Director Carolyn Coleman and several members of the League Board of Directors.
