CalTRUST Market Update and Proposed New Ultra-Short Fund Webinar

CalTRUST, co-sponsored by the League of California Cities and the California State Association of Counties, is a statewide investment pool for California public agencies. 
As part of its ongoing commitment to providing educational tools, CalTRUST, is offering a no-cost webinar on proposed new ultra-short fund. CalTRUST webinars are open to all California cities, counties, special districts, and nonprofit agencies. 
Presented by CalTRUST partners, BlackRock, this webinar will include:
  • Market Update;
  • Overview of the current CalTRUST Short- and Medium-Term Funds Positioning; and
  • Discussion on the proposed new CalTRUST Ultra-Short Fund.  
The CalTRUST Board has been discussing the possibility of offering an additional fund: a GASB 79 compliant, 2A7 look-alike fund with a stable net asset value. BlackRock will share additional information on this proposed fund in an effort to receive feedback from participants and gauge interest after providing an overview of the current market and positioning of the current CalTRUST Funds.
