Federal CDBG Funding Available for Small Cities and Counties

The California Department of Housing and Community Development (HCD) has announced the availability of almost $30 million in federal Community Development Block Grants. 
 
This Notice of Funding Availability (NOFA) applies to non-entitlement cities with a population of less than 50,000.
 
HCD’s announcement is online and contains information on how to apply and other details.
 
Grant applications are due to HCD by 5 p.m. on Feb. 5, 2019.
 
In addition, HCD will be holding workshops to review application requirements. The dates for these have not yet been set but will be posted on HCD’s website and available through the agency’s CDBG mailing list. Sign up online to receive announcements.
