Fire Chiefs Leadership Seminar: Dec. 12–13
This conference is designed for fire chiefs, chief officers, union leadership, and other fire services leaders. During the two-day seminar, attendees can participate in a variety of discussions on challenging leadership topics including succession planning, labor relations, emergency response, late breaking changes in EMS and more.
Municipal Finance Institute: Dec. 12–13
This conference brings together over 150 finance directors and other municipal finance experts from throughout California for professional development and discussion on current topics. This important event will feature legal and elections updates, an economic outlook presentation by the economics professor Dr. Peter Rupert, and a session on sales tax with the Nick Maduros, director of the California Department of Tax and Fee Administration.
City Clerks New Law & Elections Seminar: Dec. 12–14
Nearly 300 city clerks are expected to attend this seminar and receive information on new election laws, the Fair Political Practices Commission, emergency preparedness, strategies to work effectively with elected officials, and other topics.

While the League’s room block at the Hyatt Regency San Francisco Embarcadero is sold out, there are other hotel properties within a mile with affordable room rates in the $200 range. Lodging can be found through your favorite booking website.
