The Center for Creative Land Recycling is a national nonprofit founded in 1996 through the Trust for Public Land. We enable communities to develop sustainably and equitably by restoring underutilized properties to productive reuse. We convene, consult and collaborate with communities, government agencies, and the private sector to encourage them to develop land in ways that reduce inequity and increase community wellbeing. CCLR serves as a trusted advisor, facilitator, and project manager focused on the environmental components of brownfield redevelopment. Our work builds local capacity to create job-generating redevelopment, restore the environment and build more equitable, healthy and prosperous futures.
