No on Prop. 6 Campaign Launches Statewide TV and Digital Ads Featuring Local Transportation Projects in Jeopardy

September 25, 2018
The No on Prop. 6 campaign has launched regionalized television and digital ads throughout California.

The ads feature 2018 American Society of Civil Engineers President Kristina Swallow, P.E., highlighting critical transportation projects threatened by Prop. 6, the attack on bridge and road safety.

The ads are regionalized and feature local data showing how Prop. 6 threatens California’s transportation infrastructure including statistics from the U.S. Department of Transportation Federal Highway Administration, showing 1,600 bridges in California are structurally deficient. Prop. 6 eliminates more than $5 billion annually in existing transportation funds and stops funding for more than 6,500 bridge and road safety, transportation and public transit improvement projects currently underway throughout California.
