Registration Open for City Clerks New Law & Elections Seminar

Registration is open for the League of California Cities® 2018 City Clerks New Law & Elections Seminar.
This three-day conference will bring together over 350 California city clerks for an education and networking event at the Hyatt Regency San Francisco on Dec. 12–14. 
Explore new election laws, the Fair Political Practices Commission, emergency preparedness, how to work effectively with elected officials and other facets of the city clerk's role. Here is a preview of some of the session topics featured this year:
  • Strategies for working with elected officials;
  • Skills for surviving the podium and making effective presentations to your legislative body; and
  • Tips from several different perspectives on the emerging issues of emergency preparedness.

Registration for all three days starts at $475 for League members. Be sure to register early as last year sold out a month before the registration deadline. Visit the League’s event website to see the official announcement, find information on the event location, and register to attend.
