Register Today for the 2019 Public Works Officers Institute in San Diego

'Best Practices in Communications and Emergency Responses' are among the many sessions

The League of California Cities® and the County Engineers Association of California are gearing up for three days of education and networking at their joint Public Works Officers Institute & Expo.
 
California public works directors and professionals will convene April 3 – 5 in San Diego at Paradise Point.
 
Full conference registration includes admission for the Wednesday reception and expo, Thursday breakfast and lunch and Friday breakfast.
 
Educational sessions kick off with a general session titled The Thomas Fire: Whole Community Response. Fifteen additional concurrent sessions feature topics such as stormwater best practices and legal updates for public works directors. Don’t miss the many different takes on communication with constituents, your team and the media for public works directors and related city leaders.

Registration starts at $575 for League members. The deadline to register and reserve your hotel is Tuesday, March 12. Reserve your room now before the hotel is sold out.
 
Please note that there is a limited amount of hotel rooms in the League's block for Tuesday, April 2 due to the conference beginning on Wednesday, April 3 at 1 p.m. We suggest that you consider this timing when deciding your travel plans for the conference.
