Census 2020: What Cities Need to Know Webinar Scheduled for Jan. 30

Deadline to register is Jan. 29

January 7, 2019
Every 10 years, the federal government undertakes a census of the U.S. population to determine federal representation, redraw federal and state legislative districts and allocate federal funding to states and local governments.

For these reasons, a complete and accurate census count is essential to the well-being of our state and all Californians.

The next federal census will begin on April 1, 2020, and what do California cities need to know to be prepared?

Please join the League and senior representatives from California Complete Count and the California Government Operations Agency to learn about the 2020 Census process, and how cities can play an incredibly important role in helping the state prepare for and execute a complete census count.
