Sacramento Superior Court Decides League’s AB 1484 Lawsuit Not Yet “Ripe”

Today the Sacramento Superior Court decided it did not want to decide yet whether the property and sales tax claw back provisions of AB 1484, the redevelopment agency dissolution legislation of 2011, were unconstitutional under Propositions 1A (2004) and 22 (2010) because the penalties had not yet been invoked against the petitioners or any members of the League by the Department of Finance.
